| How can you protect a spreadsheet? | Spreadsheets and workbooks can be protecting by setting a a password. in addition cells can be locked to ensure the integrity of the data. |
| What is Conditional Formatting? | This allows different formatting to be applied depending on the values in the cells. an example would be formatting applied to show positive numbers in blue and negative numbers in red. |
| What is Data Validation? | This allows for entries from a list to be entered into selected cells using a drop-down menu. This is also used to restrict entries that do not meet pre-set conditions. |
