Why do people take drugs?(5) Pain relief, fun, sensation, peer pressure & performance enhancer.
Definition: Gateway drug A progression drug, encourages user to try stronger drugs (e.g:heroin).
Definition: Haram Forbidden by Islamic Law
Definition: Stimulant Quickens some vital bodily processes.
Definition: Depressant Reduces nervous/functional activity.
3 organisations helping addicts: Alcoholics anonymous, Amy Winehouse foundation & Addaction.
For legalisation of cannabis (4) Already millions of users, helps treat effects of cancer/MS,nearly impossible to overdose & calms people.
Against legalisation of cannabis (4) Would encourage use of it, more tar than tobacco, gateway drug & contains more than 500 chemicals.
