Catering Establishments serve food and drink. Examples include:- Restaurants, school canteens, hotels and wine bars.
Commercial establishments - they sell food and drink to make a profit. For example.... A restaurant, a take-away or a bed and breakfast.
non-commercial they don't need to make a profit. For example... a prison canteen or a hospital cafeteria.
Residential catering establishemnt provide accomodation for thier customers as well as serving food and drink. For example.... bed and breakfast or a hotel.
Non-residential catering establishments don't provide accommodation for customers. For example.... a restaurant, a cafe or a staff canteen.
Contract caterers provide food and drink at place where it's not usually provided. They are often hired for private events, such as.... weddings or birthday parties.
Contract caterers one advantage of these are.. everyone all customers can enjoy the event and not worry about the food. The caterers organise the menu and the food, serve and feed the guests and clear up everything afterwards.
