| Reasons for tailoring data entry screens? | a. Consistency: if there are several forms, the buttons should be in the same place and look the same. If the data entered comes from the paper form then there should be consistency between paper form and the computer entry form. b. Relevance: the information on the screen should not be excessive but concise and useful. Every task should require the minimum of keystrokes to complete. |
