  1. Activities to get learners to use inner speech before during and after experiencing a written or spoken text.
  2. Activities to get learners to use inner speech before during and after using language themselves.
  3. Activities to help the learners reflect on their mental activity during a task and try to make more use of mental strategies in a similar task.
3. Make students visualize before starting the task, encouraging them to to make connections with their lives.
Principle 5 of language acquisition
1. If learners notice for themselves how a particular language item is used, they develop their language awareness
2. Materials Development
  1. Experiential approach to make them reflect on the experience and pay attention to features in order to achieve explicit learning.
  2. Help the learners (preferably in collaboration) to make discoveries for themselves.
Principle 6 of language acquisition
1. To bring opportunities to use language to try to achieve communicative purposes.
2. Materials Development
  1. Make learners produce language and make sure learners are using language not practicing specified features
  2. Help learners to develop their ability to communicate correctly and make sure learners are responding to an authentic stimulus
  3. Ensure that opportunities for feedback
