Observation

Purpose
1. Gather and analyze information>>to improve the teaching action

  3. Learn about learners and new styles
    1. *how the learners respond and interact with the teacher * new methods.
  4. To interpret the information obtained from the observation

    1. to identify those aspects of the lesson that: were successful and could be improved
  6. To learn about school life
Instruments
1. Checklists
  1. Provide a clear and organized focus for observation (it must be adapted )
2. Seating charts
  1. it can be used to encode and quantify various aspects of the class.

  1. Brief description of the events in the class
4. Narrative summary
  1. To capture the main things and details about the events in the class.
5. Follow-up conversation.
