I think Asian Nationalism has helped the continent in many ways, first, it was not necessary anti western because it established new relationships with west based on equality and self respect. Now the real challenge for Asia is to think in terms of partnership and not leadership because now there has arise a consciousness of a new dignity and self respect for people
