CEREBRUM
The largest part of the brain. It controls our senses, thinking, feeling and believing
Divided into two hemispheres. Each hemisphere has 4 lobes.
CEREBELLUM
At the back of the brain. It controls balance and posture.
BRAIN STEM
It controls respiration, circulation and involuntary actions ( heartbit, breathing).
THE SPINAL CORD
It controls special movements called "reflexes"
PERIPHERAL NERVOUS SYSTEM

SENSORY NERVES:
MOTOR NERVES:
MIXED NERVES:
Long fibres of nervous tissue, connected to the central nervous system and extended to all parts of the body.
It consists of neurons (nerve cells).
