1. It is a novel that does not tell the life of a human being turned into an insect and how that transformation changes its customs and its relations with the rest of his family.
He thinks that everything is a dream and that if he goes back to sleep, he will wake up again as a normal being.
He begins a new life as an insect, confined in his room.
Sister Grete is the only person in the family who enters her room and leaves her food. They do not let the mother approach for fear of the impression she can give him and the father ignores the situation.
Finally, Gregorio dies.
The family then moves away from the house and begins a new life. But certainly the end was very sad
