The Future

1. The Closed Universe Theory

   • Gravity will slow moving galaxies
     • Motion will be reversed
   • The universe will return to the small, dense, hot 'dot'

2. The Flat Universe Theory

   • The universe will expand outwards getting slower and slower
     • Eventually it will come to rest
       • Stars will eventually use up all their gas and go out

3. The Open Universe Theory

   • The universe will expand until there is no energy left
     • No energy = no heat
       • No heat = nothingness
