  1. RAM stands for Random Access Memory.
    1. A storage location that lets information be stored and accessed quickly.
      1. If the computer loses power all data in the RAM is lost.
    2. ROM stands for Read-Only Memory.
      1. It is a built in memory that is used in all kinds of technical devises such as computers.
        1. The name is a give away but the data stored in ROM can only be read.
      2. Volatile is memory that is deleted when the computer is turned off.
        1. RAM is Volitile!
