    1. light intensity(the more light the faster the rate of photosynthesis
      1. CO2 levels plants need co2 to produce glucose
        1. temperatures- enzymes work at 40 degrees, any temperature over 45 degrees would denature enzymes

          2. chemical equation
            1. carbon dioxide+water+(light energy----->)glucose+oxygen
            2. Glucose-needed by cells for respiration. However, it is not produced at night when it is too dark for photosynthesis to happen. Plants and algae store glucose as insoluble products like starch fats and oils
