              1. Blood Pressure- Contraction of the heart muscle, which pumps blood through the body, and the resistance of the walls of the vessels through which the blood flows
                1. Systolic Blood Pressure- Higher of the two numbers, measures the pressure in the arteries when the heart beats
                  1. Diastolic Blood Pressure- The lower of the two numbers, measures the pressure in the arteries when the heart is resting
                    1. A blood pressure reading consists of the systolic measurement "over" the diastolic measurement, recorded in millimeters of mercury (mm Hg) by a sphygmomanometer
