    1. Environmental Impacts- ice melting means more water in the sea cause change in density and ocean currents loosing natural sinks because of loss of permafrost
      1. Ecological Impacts- habitats are being reduced and lost there are few species so could cause devastating effects. As sea ice coverage is reduced temperatures increase
        1. Socio-economic impacts- could open new shipping routes in the summer new natural resources may be found increase opportunities for farming and forestry.
