George and Martha´s constant fight
1. The way they speak to each other shows their ambition
  1. In the first part of the play Martha is in control
    1. In the second part George is in control
1. Martha and George constantly humiliate and ridiculize each other
  1. One example is when Martha retells the anecdote where she punches George
1. As a matter of fact, George is the most powerful character
  1. But for some reason he allows Martha to have the power
    1. When Martha reveals the baby George gets furious
      1. Consequently he unleashes a storm of controversial revelations
1. Nick is mostly interested in Honey's money
  1. Nick married Honey due to a hysterical pregnancy
2. As everyone knows, Honey is quite naive
  1. For this reason she needs a man by her side
    1. She is also alongside Nick because she does not want to feel lonely
