GCSE Physics-motion
  1. Distance Time Graphs
    1. The gradient of a distance time graph for an object represents the object's speed
      1. The steeper the gradient of the line on a graph, the greater the speed is
        1. An object moving at a constant speed travels the same distance every second.
        2. A Stationary object is a horizontal line
          1. Moving at constant speed is a straight line that slopes upwards
          2. Velocity
            1. Velocity is speed in a given direction
              1. Acceleration is CHANGE of velocity per second.
                1. The unit of acceleration is metre per second squared
                  1. Acceleration= change of velocity/ time taken
                    1. Acceleration Equation: a= v-u / t
                      1. v=the final velocity in metres per second
                        1. u=the initial velocity in metres per second
                          1. t= time taken in seconds
