  1. Particularities and characteristics
    1. This theoretical-practical course has the purpose of inducing the student in a practice scenario in which they will have to test their skills, knowledge, critical thinking and problem-solving capacity. That is why this course will help the student to develop the capacity for autonomous learning, through practice, which will help the future teacher to project his role in a real scenario, with real problems that will help him reflect on the current pedagogical setbacks and thus be able to propose solution strategies that are coupled to the demands and needs of the students, perfecting their methodology in such a way that when the student becomes a professional he is in full capacity to function correctly and obtain good results through significant learning in their students.
    2. Phases
      1. Phase 1: This phase is intended to give the student a general recognition of the course.
        1. Phase 2: The purpose of this activity is to start relate the student to the place of practice and allow the student to examine the most important factors influential in acquiring knowledge about a new language
          1. Phase 3: In this phase the student will have to put test your analysis and comparison skills so to be able to identify the main characteristics of the theories related to the acquisition of foreign languages.
            1. Phase 4: In this phase the student will have to analyze the learning styles used in the classroom that fit better to the demands and needs of the students
              1. Phase 5: In this phase the student will have to create a well-structured proposal where it articulates the characteristics of a particular activity to a type evaluation specific.
      2. Learning outcome
        1. Learning Outcome 1: Review the characteristics of the course and the particularities of the pedagogical and educational practice process.
          1. Learning Outcome 2: Examine the factors that influence the process of foreign language acquisition and learning methodically and in detail within the pedagogical practice scenarios.
            1. Learning Outcome 3: Compare the main theories on foreign language acquisition within the context of the pedagogical practice scenario.
              1. Learning Outcome 4: Evaluate teaching strategies used within the classroom based on the student's learning characteristics.
                1. Learning Outcome 5: Set up a proposal related to the new assessment approaches in the classroom environment.
        2. Units
          1. Unit 1: Foreign Language Acquisition, from the theory to the practice. In this unit, the following contents will be addressed: Fundamentals of foreign language acquisition and learning. Internal and external factors in the learning process, age, critical period, motivation, attitude, aptitude, psychosocial, economic, cultural aspects, among others. Identify learning styles through class observation.
            1. Unit 2: Learning trends in Foreign Language In this unit, the following contents will be addressed: Current trends and methodologies for teaching a foreign language. How to involve the use of ICT in the teaching and learning process in the classroom. New assessment approaches.
