- Sits on the right side
of the belly.
- Located in the right upper quadrant of the
abdominal cavity, it rest just below the
diaphragm, to the righto of the stomach and
overlying the gallbaladder.

- The liver divided into two portions, the right and the left lobe,
beteewn the lobes it 's the falciform ligament that delimits the

- Protuction of bile, wich helps carry away waste and break down fast in the samll intestine
during digestion.

- Procedding of hemoglobin for use of it's iron contenet (the liver stores iron)
- Clearing the blood of drugs and other harmful substances
- Resising infections by producing immune factors and removing bacteria from the bloodstream

during digestion.
