      1. Evidence: He gets on the Great Leonopteryx, the strongest wildest banshee. Effect: If Jake is brave and strong enough to tame the Great Leonopteryx , and succeed, than he is brave and strong enough to follow into battle with the humans.
        1. Evidence: Starts off holding hands with Neytiri. Effect: showing that he cares for Neytiri and the Na’vi and who better to follow into war than someone who cares about you and the cause.
          1. Evidence: He has the approval of Tsu’tey (he helps him convince the rest of the Na’vi Clan) one of the most influential warriors in the clan Effect: (Na’vi Clan thoughts) If Tsu’tey approves of him than we all should approve of him.
          2. Pathos:
            1. Evidence: “My brother and sisters” Effect: Makes them feel like they are all apart of the same family and family would do anything for each other.
              1. Evidence: Jake Sully shows great emotion by throwing his fist in the air. Effect: All the Na’vi stand and are ready to fly off and ask the other clans for help.
                1. Evidence: Jake Sully stands up and talks to them directly point straight at them and using hand gestures Effect: They begin to listen to him and believe that he cares about them
                2. Logos:
                  1. Direct Quote: “This is our land” Effect: The Na’vi clan are the natives to the land and the humans are the intruders.
                    1. Direct Quote: “We need to show the sky people that they can not take whatever they want” Effect: The only way to win a war is to show superiority over the humans and take charge to show they are stronger in order to keep their land.
                      1. Direct Quote: “Tell the other clans to come” Effect: The best thing to do is to grow their masses for the fight between the Na’vi and Humans.
