1 sequences
1.1 To work out the next number in a sequence you have to learn what numbers the sequence goes up in.
1.1.1 1,3,5,7,9,.....,...... figure out the next two numbers in the sequence. To figure out the next two numbers find out what the sequence goes up in which is +2 so the sequence is 1,3,5,7,9,11,13.
1.1.2 Figure out this sequence 2,5,10,17,26,....,....
1.1.2.1 The sequence is going up by +2. To get from 2 to 5 is 3 and 5 and then +2 to 3 so its +5 etc.
2 TRIGONOMETRY
2.1 To work out you have to find out the hypotenuse=h, opposite=o and adjacent=a. You also have to figure out if it is sin=sine, cos=cosine, tan=tangent. The hypotenuse is opposite the right angle of the shape, opposite is the other angle.
2.1.1 sin x= o/h, cos x= a/h, tan x = o/a
