- sequences
- To work out the next number in
a sequence you have to learn
what numbers the sequence
goes up in.
- 1,3,5,7,9,.....,...... figure out the
next two numbers in the
sequence. To figure out the next
two numbers find out what the
sequence goes up in which is +2 so
the sequence is 1,3,5,7,9,11,13.
- Figure out this sequence
2,5,10,17,26,....,....
- The sequence is going up by +2.
To get from 2 to 5 is 3 and 5 and
then +2 to 3 so its +5 etc.

- To work out you have to find out the hypotenuse=h, opposite=o and
adjacent=a. You also have to figure out if it is sin=sine, cos=cosine,
tan=tangent. The hypotenuse is opposite the right angle of the shape, opposite
is the other angle.
- sin x= o/h, cos x= a/h, tan x = o/a
