                                  1. Write the numbers in a column, with the decimal points lined up.
                                  2. Dividing fractions.
                                    1. Ignore the decimal points to give whole numbers. Then divide the numbers: the result will be the same as if dividing deciamls.
                                    2. Multiply decimals
                                      1. Ignore the decimal points and multiply the whole numbers. Then insert the decimal places in the same as the total number of decimal places in the number being multiplied
                                      2. Rounding decimals
                                        1. When working with decimals it is often necessary to approximate the figure by rounding up or down. Do this exactly the same way as you round integers, but round the number to the nearest tenth, hundredth, thousandth and so on, depending on how many decimal places or significant figures you want the use.
