1. Always find a common denominator
2. Add or subtracts the top numbers
3. Simplify your answer to get your final answer
When multiplying and dividing numbers ALWAYS change the mixed numbers into improper fractions
1. MULTIPLICATION
  1. Cross Council
  2. Multiply the top and Bottom numbers
  3. Simplify
2. DIVIDING
  1. "Dividing fractions is as easy as pie, invert the second and multiply!"
  2. Change to an improper fraction
    1. Turn the second fraction upside down and change the ÷ to a × KFC -> Keep Swap Carry on
