What kind of media institution might
distribute my media magazine?
- I believe that Bauer Media group
would not be suitable to distribute
my media magazine.
- This is due to the company
already being in charge of
Kerrang magazine which is
a similar music genre to my
own - rock.
- Although their magazine
Kerrang went down in
sellings the least during
the first half of 2013 at
6.5%
- This is due to the company

- IPC - media inspire are in
control of NME magazine, with
it mainly focusing on
mainstream music they would
have a area available to start
with a rock/metal magazine.
- Also they are based in the UK.
- NME sales have gone down by
16.4% during the first half of 2013,
possibly causing them to take up a
new magazine.
- I would like the directors of
NME to distribute my
magazine as they have the
world's biggest stand alone
music site meaning that the
advertising and publicity for my
magazine would be large and
well seen.
- Also they are based in the UK.
- MAMA & Company may
also be a good industry to
distribute my magazine
- This is due to
their dramatic drop
in sales of The Fly
down by 34.9%
- Also people who have
contributed also write for
other publications such as;
Q, KERRANG and NME,
possibly giving access to
other magazine directors.
