    1. If the receiver cannot understand, they will be confused and actioning will not happen
      1. Ensure your language is clear, provide it verbally if necessary
    2. Timely
      1. If too delayed, receiver cannot action the feedback.
        1. Ensure you give feedback within a reasonable timeframe
      2. Constructive
        1. Providing feedback in a negative way can reduce the receiver's morale
          1. Ensure language is positive and suggest improvement
        2. Focused
          1. If the feedback criticises the person instead of the task the receiver may get defensive
