          1. Macbeth's paranoia is a constant problem for him. He feels awfully guilty.
        3. Lady Macbeth
          1. 'Out, damned spot, out I say!'
            1. Lady Macbeth fears that there is blood on her hands and that they are stained after the murder of King Duncan
            2. 'A little water clears us of this deed.'
              1. She acts brave now but her mind will change soon enough as seen in 'Out, damned spot'... her guilt gets the better of her.

                1. This quote shows that they have planned something... Quite possibly evil.
                2. Added into the play due to historical context and people were frightened of witches back then.
                  1. Shakespeare added this to make it more interesting and scarier for the audience, especially as the play starts with the witches.

                    1. They know his name, making it scarier for the audience and showing the audience of their magical power.
                      1. We now know that somethng bad is going to happen to Macbeth as witches are evil.

                      1. His 2 sons.
                        1. Flee to england because they're the air to the throne and king has been murdered.
                      2. King Duncan
                        1. Killed by his most loyal soldier, Macbeth.
                        2. Macduff
                          1. Family killed by Macbeth's men.
