    1. in manufacturing industry, computers are used in the dsegin of production of products
      1. students can be taught using e-learning
        1. teaches and helps students improve in subjects
          1. can learn at home and do online homework
            1. some e-learning services cost money but some like bbc bitesize are free
            2. positive factors
              1. increased leisure time
                1. equality for disadvantaged people
                  1. creation of new/more interesting jobs
                  2. negative factors
                    1. Deserted city centres because everyone is inside of their tablets
                      1. increased stress at home
                        1. lack of privacy
                          1. reduced number of manual jobs - elimination of jobs
                            1. increased unemployment
                            2. If the computer did not exist it would take longer to do homework, because you would have to go to the Library to found out information
                              1. If the mobile phone did not exist you would not be able to communicate/socialise as much with friends and family
                                1. If the IPad did not exist then you wouldn’t be able to Skype/Facetime to your family that don’t live near you. You also wouldn’t be able to use some of the apps that help you with homework and other things
                                  1. If the television did not exist you would not be able to find out what's happening around the world
                                    1. With online shopping you can… Sell things on E-bay, buy clothes/jewellery and search and purchase thousands of products, using Amazon etc.

                                          1. Can compare prices with other websites
                                            1. Huge range of selection
                                              1. A lot easier than going out to buy the product in bad weather or when you’re busy/ rushed.
                                              2. disadvantages...
                                                1. You are viewing the product on screen, therefore when it does arrive it may not look like the picture.
                                                  1. Takes a couple of days to arrive
                                                    1. You cannot try it on.
                                                      1. Your payment method can be dangerous
