There are 3 common formulae for finding the area of a given triangle.
1. 1/2 x b x h
There are 3 common formulae for the area of a triangle.
1.
 Area = 1/2 x b x h
 This formula is only useful if we know h, the perpendicular height.
2.
 This formula is useful if we know the length of any two sides and the angle at which they meet
3.
 Known as Heron's formula.
Can be used when you know the length of all three sides.
