The heart, blood, arteries and veins together make the circulatory systements. the job of this system is to carry oxigen and nutrients. it also carries away waste materials. An adult heart is about the size od a man´s fist. The heart is divided in four parts called chambers ( left and right atrium and left and right ventricule)Arteries and veins are the tubes that carry the blood around the body. Arteries carry blood from the heart to the body and veins bring the blood back to the heart. Each time the heart beats to pump the blood throught the blood vessels, the vessels expand, then relax again. This is your pulse. When you are resting your heart beats about 70 times a minute.
