Contexto

Hello everyone! / ¡Hola a todos! For today's activity you guys must READ, WRITE, OBSERVE and EXPERIENCE to start writing your own – and unique – descriptive texts. Since you all have an intermediate level of English, you can choose and write from a wide variety of topics. I am going to provide you with a small piece of text you have to read; then, you must write, in a small paragraph, the feeling you got from reading the passage. After writing your piece of paper, quietly observe the world around you and experience things from a new perspective. Go to a coffee place downtown, visit an old friend from school, take a bus to a foreign place and when you come back, or while you are in the process of experiencing new things, write down your own new feelings. Check what you wrote the first time and compare it with what you just did. Can you notice the difference?

Multimídia

Contexto

Welcome! Today we are learning how to write our FEELINGS. This activity's author is Sueli from teachingenglish.org.uk, a great space for learning English. Procedure First, choose some songs. (Click here?) Take a blank piece of paper. Make a cross on it dividing the paper into four equal parts. Then number the parts from 1 to 4 (in this case). Each student in the group will use one part of the paper. Play one of the songs from this playlist (Playlist) and you will have to draw something on it according  to what you feel or something related to the lyrics. Change the song and follow the same procedure with the others parts of the paper. You finish drawing, you are supposed to make up a story following the sequence of their drawings (1 drawing from each song = 4 drawings). Once you have finished with the drawings, start writing your own story based on what you have learned so far in this course.  Send the story to learningengd@study.com The grammar aim is focused on the present tense, present continuous, and simple past. Try it! It will be great!   fuente: https://www.teachingenglish.org.uk/article/songs-storytelling
