CIRCUITS

Series Circuits

• p.d. - is SHARED between the components. p.d. around circuit adds up to p.d. across power supply.
• Current - Has the SAME current through all parts of circuit.
• Resistance - Total resistance of circuit is sum of individual resistances. The bigger the resistance of a component the bigger it’s share.
• 
• Legenda: R = R1 + R2 + R3

Series Circuits

Parallel Circuits

• p.d. - Is the SAME across all branches.
• Current - Total current equals sum of all current flowing through spectate branches, Current is SHARED.
• Resistance - Is less than the branch with the SMALLEST resistance.
