Rules to balance equations using O.N.
- Find the O.N. of all the atoms in the given equation.
- Identify the atoms undergoing change in O.N.
- Balance the number of atoms for the element undergoing change in O.N.
- No. of electrons lost and no. of electrons gained are calculated and made equal by multiplying with suitable co-efficients.
- Balance the Water molecules.
