Scientific Method Variables
Flashcards do conjunto (4)
- 1Independent VariableIs the only one variable that changes in an experiment.
- 2Dependent variableWhat I measure as a result of the effect of the independent variable.
- 3Controlled variablesAre all variables I can think of that will be kept constant (the same) in my experiment. Examples are amount of water, size of container, type of soil, same temperature, etc.
- 4Control GroupThe control group is the one in the experiment that will be used as a comparison of the independent variable variations. In the dependent variable the independent variable is not applied.
