the "mirror image"/offer and acceptance approach: "its deceptively simple proposition is that a contract results from an offer made by one party to another who accepts it. That is, at a definite point in time one party intentionally makes an offer by words or conduct, and the other party accepts this offer (hence the expression "mirror image"). At the precise moment of acceptance, the formation questions (whether? When? and What?) are answered simultaneously".
