Construct Validity	Construct Validity refers to the ability of a measurement tool (e.g., a survey, test, etc) to actually measure the psychological concept being studied
Internal Validity	Internal validity occurs when a researcher controls all extraneous variables and the only variable influencing the results of a study is the one being manipulated by the researcher.
Criterion Validity	The degree to which test scores indicate a result on a specific measure that is consistent with some other criterion of the characteristic being assessed; also known as predictive validity.
Face Validity	The degree to which test items appear to be directly related to the attribute the researcher wishes to measure.
External Validity	This refers to the extent to which the results of a study can be generalized or extended to others
Population Validity	Population Validity refers to how well the sample can be extrapolated to a population as a whole.
Ecological Validity	Ecological Validity is the degree to which the behaviours observed and recorded in a study reflect the behaviours that actually occur in natural settings
Internal Reliability	Internal reliability refers to the extent to which a measure is consistent within itself
External Reliability	External reliability refers to the extent to which a measure varies from one use to another
