macbeth timeline

Duncan talks with Commanders about the war that they won all because of Macbeth

Macbeth is promoted to Thane of Cawdor and Thane of Glamis because they killed the other guy

in Act 1 scene 3, Macbeth and Banquo ask for their futures, they shall both be successful

Getting this promotion because he did such a good job on winning the battle for Scotland

Macbeth tells Lady Macbeth --> she gets greedy and wants MB to be king

She has a plan to kill Duncan and plant it on the servants

MB is successful but brings the dagger that he killed Duncan with with him

Lady Macbeth plants it back in Duncans room

People eventually find out which causes Donalbain and Malcom to flee --> some people think that they killed Duncan for the crown

Lady MB then thinks that Banquo is suspicious of them killing Duncan so she sends murderers to kill him and his son FLeance

MB feels guilty of such a crime that he has done

Gets the job done, but Fleance gets away which is kind of concerning but he does not reappear in the play

Fleance was supposed to be the king at the end but Instead it was Malcom

MB feels even ore guilty about what he did to Banquo that he sees his ghost at a dinner
