Water quality in the world

water covers two sites on the earth is surface . 97% of the water is saline and 3% is driking water means that 2% are from the poles fresh water cannot be used if it is contamined

​​​​​Pollutants are substances that pollute the environment and water. Driking these substances can make people seriouesly ill. millions of people die from driking contaminated water. Sometimes water pollutants come from natural sources these disasters can drag large amounts of waste into the water animal and human waste can also pollute water. these waste can tranport bacteria to the water supply

Human actions

Other souces of contamination are of human origin. chemical products including pesticides and fertilizers pollution also comes from burning fossil fuels , such as coal and oil.

when coal and oil are burned for energy. Gases are released, These gases are mixed with water vapor in the air. This steam condenses and falls to earth as an acidic oil spill into the sea can damage marine life, beaches and birds. Many countries have found ways to clean up their have found ways . their efforts show that we can do something about water pollution
