Pour benzoic acid crystals into boiling tube
Place boiling tube and tube of deionised water into water bath for a few minutes
Slowly add hot deionised water to crystal tube and stir
When the crystals have dissolved, remove the tube and place in a test tube rack
Once crystals begin to reform place the tube in a beaker of ice water
