   • Protects against malicious software.
   • Needs updating regularly to make sure that it knows the latest threats
   • Should be used on email attachments and.

   • Prevents harmful data entering your computer.
   • Used to help protect a computer network from intruders.
   • Controls which programs can send and receive data packets.
   • Used when, program is trying to connect to another network.

3. Encryption

   • You use encryption to scramble our data.
   • Decrypt (unscramble) :we use a cipher to decrypt.
   • We sometimes use encryption to prevent unauthorized access.
   • Cryptography means the art of solving codes
   • We encrypt a message by entering a secret form of message.
   • You can tell if a website is using encryption if they have the green padlock by the "http".
   • Not all websites use encryption because it isn't necessary because not all websites have or need your personal info and they all don't need to use accounts.
   • One thing we do everyday in encryption is use our passwords.
