1. What is CLIL?

   • Content and language integrated learning. Teaching the content of subjects using a foreign language, because it's a tool for learning. It's a beneficial way to foster both of them.
     • DIMENSIONS
       • 1. Culture Dimension: To arouse awareness of the closet and the widest cultural context
       • 2. Enviroment Dimension: To prepare students to deal to different international situations
       • 3. Language Dimension: To achieve an improvement in 4 skills in a foreign language, through a meaningful learning
       • 4. Content Dimension: To create different situations to learn the contents. In order to guaranteer the students' success
       • 5. Learning Dimension: To use different methods and learning strategies to foster students' motivation
     • RESEARCH FOUNDATIONS
       • Half and long period (5-7 years)
       • Cyclical process
       • It's best when the students use HOT (create, discover and construct)
       • In a CLIL the language is a means to learn. High motivation
       • Errors are natural
       • The fluency develops with different communicative purposes
       • Reading is relevant

       • Comumunication: 4 skills, oral communication, plurilingual interests and attitudes...
       • Culture: Intercultural understanding, knowledge and communication skills
       • Content: Study content through different perspectives, and prepare for future the students
       • Cognition: Diversifying methods and focuses practice to increase the pupils' motivation
