   • Relatively free from temperature problem
   • Contamination can be minimized by proper filter installation

   • WET VACUUM PUMP
     • Use a steel vane moving in cast iron housing
     • Sealed and lubricated by engine oil
   • DRY VACUUM PUMP
     • Use carbon vane and rotor
     • Does not require any external lubricant
