3. ENCRYPTION

   • encryption allows you to write hidden message.
   • you encrypt a letter by using a cipher
   • to decrypt a message you use a key.
   • you use encryption when you want to write a secret message to someone
   • to tell if a website is using encryption the link will start with http

4. ANTI VIRUS

   • should be used when downloading new software from the internet
   • prevents harmful data entering your computer
   • scans the computer periodically
   • needs updating regularly to make sure thst
   • quarantines any programs or files which are harmful
   • protects against malicious software
