1. The use of the white board to enhance the teaching of poetry in the Primary schools

       • Almost all standard IV to VI have access to a sankore projector in all schools of Mauritius

       • Despite the fact that poetry is part and parcel of literacy little importance is given to poetry

       • Teachers have been given intensive courses on the use of the white board

       • ICT is no longer  is teaching subject at school  unless those who have a PC or a laptop at home can be said to be computer literate.

       • Government policy is very much for the full use of this innovative technological tool
