Parabolas

1. A parabola is a curve where any point is at an equal distance from the focus and the directrix

2. The vertex of a parabola, is where the parabola can changes direction and it always have a highest or lowest point

3. The axis of symmetry is a middle point that is a vertical line that divides the parabola into two parts.

4. The equation of a parabola:

   • The standard form is: y= ax^2 + bx + c
   • And the vertex form is: y= a(x - h)^2 + k
