  1. HASWA for SERVICE PROVIDERS
    1. The working environment must not put anyone at risk
      1. Employers must:
        1. Cary out risk assessments
          1. Provide PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
            1. Put procedures in place to prevent accidents
              1. Monitor staff practice
                1. Have
                  1. Fire Alarms
                    1. Extinguishers
                      1. Accessible fire doors
                  2. The equipment provided must be safe and in good working order
                    1. Employers must:
                      1. Provide equipment that is:
                        1. Fit for pupose
                          1. In good working order
                          2. Carry out regular safety checks for all equipment
                            1. Regularly service/maintain all equipment
                              1. PAT test all electrical appliances
                            2. Employers must provide adequate health and safety training for staff
                              1. Employers must:
                                1. Provide health and safety training for staff
                                  1. Must be updated regularly
                                  2. Train staff in specialist equipment
                                    1. Hold regular fire/evacuation practices
                                      1. Provide adequate first aid
                                    2. A written health and safety policy should be provided
                                      1. Employers must:
                                        1. Produce a health and safety policy in line with legal requirements
                                          1. Ensure all staff are aware, and have access to the policy
                                            1. Display the 'Health and Safety Law' poster in the workplace
                                          2. Protective equipment, if needed, must be available free of charge to employees

                                              1. Maintain an adequate supply of PPE
                                                1. Make no charge to staff for PPE
                                                  1. Ensure staff wear the PPE provided
                                              2. HASWA for EMPLOYEES

                                                      1. Take care of themselves and others in the workplace
