1. brute force attack

   • gaining unauthorised access to a network by using a computer program to try all possible password combinations until the correct password is found

2. DDos

   • when the request come from many sources so you cannot just block a single ip address

3. virus

   • that you might get hacked and it might cause something bad to your device

4. phishing

   • Normally an email or text messaging scam where victims are conned into believing that they are being contacted by an authentic organisation (e.g. by their bank)

5. worm

   • spread like viruses but do not require human intervention. They attach themselves to network tools to spread automatically around a network very quickly.
