Applicable regulations for cargo handling

1. LOAD

   • it is the movable property arranged for its transfer from one place to another and subject to operations to achieve this end without altering its main characteristics.

2. GENERAL LOAD

   • it is one that comes in a solid, liquid or gaseous state, and that being packer or unpacked, can be treated as a unit.

3. BULK LOAD (SOLID, LIQUID, GASEOUS)

   • Set of products that are transported in large quantities, shoe only containers is the transport vehicle.

4. DANGEROUS LOAD

   • these are merchandise that if not properly treated can put human life and the environement where its transported at risk.

5. PERISHBLE LOAD

   • They are those that in a short time lose their properties and deteriorate under certain environmental conditions (temperature, pressure, humidity,etc).

6. FRAGILE LOAD

   • it requieres special handling, the entire operation must be carried out with extrem care, including pacaging, handling and the transfer itself.

7. SPECIAL DEMENSIONS AND WEIGHTS

   • heavy loads require special handling.these characteristics are important from the pov of the freigth rates.
