1. What are Infrared Rays?

   • Infrared rays are electromagnetic waves with wavelengths shorter than those of microwaves.

2. They have higher frequencies and therefore more energy than microwaves. Because you can feel the energy of infrared waves as heat.

3. How are infrared rays wavelengths different from other waves?

   • Infrared waves are very different from Gamma Rays the frequencies are different Infrared rays have a lower frequency than Gamma Rays, Gamma rays have the biggest frequency known.
