    1. Definition: Train your body physically and mentally to prepare for a sport or an activity
      1. physical: when you prepare the body for a sport or a fitness test
        1. mental: is when a performer thinks about and visualises a successful performance
      2. anaerobic
        1. dont need oxygen to do anaerobic sport like sprints and waightlifting
        2. aerobic
          1. needs oxygen for aerobic sports like football and rugby
          2. training methods
            1. each method can be improved by one fitness component
              1. circuit, weight, continuous, interval, Fartlek, plyometric, flexibility
