1. Discrete Random Variable

   • P(X=x)
   • A discrete random variable is a variable whose possible values are numerical outcomes, generally, the discrete random variable is denoted by a capital letter, and the values it can take are represented with their corresponding lowercase letter.

2. Expectation, Variance and Standard Deviation

   • E(X): this is the expert value
   • Variance
   • Standar desviation

3. Expectation, Variance and Standard Deviation

   • There are a fixed number of trials.
   • There are only two possible outcomes, called "success" and "failure," for each trial.
   • The n trials are independent and are repeated using identical conditions

4. Continuous Random Variable

   • a notation for the “Definite integral” that captures its construction as a limit of Riemann sums.
