2. there are two equations we can use to calculate the speed of waves

   • speed (m/s) = Distance (m) / time (s)
   • speed = frequency (Hz) x Wavelength (m)

3. other equations

   • Distance = Speed x time
   • Time = distance / speed
   • Wavelength = Speed/ frequency
   • Frequency = Speed / Wavelength

4. A = Amplitude- the heigh of a wave from the middle

5. W = Wavelength= the length of one wave. measure from peak to peak!!

6. F = Frequency = number of waves produced per second. unit of frquency is hertz (Hz)

7. !!!!the Smaller the wavelengths, the higher the frequency!!!!! the bigger the wavelengths, the lower the frequency~!!!!
